			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I think that manners are not as exaggerated today as they were back then. Manners are still important to me but i dont think as a whole people value  them as much as they did 30 years ago. I still say &#8220;please&#8221; and &#8220;thank you&#8221; but i know that not every does all the time. When i was in 5th grade i went to cotillion and i guess i learned some things. I learned how to write a formal invitation and how to dance properly. I dont really remember anything about it i just took cotillion because my mom wanted me to and al my friends were doing it so it was fun. I think having manners today is not that big of a deal as it was then because times have changed and young adults do not care that much anymore. I will surely pass down some manners onto my children. I will teach them how to eat properly and how to be polite towards people. Having manners is important to me because you are seen as more polite and lady-like when you have manners. I think manners will stay around for a while but lessen as time goes on.</p>
